Dartmouth in South Devon
Dartmouth is the perfect
self catering holiday destination, having both character
cottages and stunning
waterside apartments surrounding the port. Dartmouth is well known for sailing but close by are numerous sandy beaches and the South West Coastal path, plus fantastic pubs and restaurants and an abundance of interesting shops. The port of Dartmouth is a fantastic holiday destination, whether it be a romantic getaway or a family beach holiday.
Dartmouth is synonymous with sailing, there are plenty of opportunities to take to the water whether it be a boat trip to the lovely town of Totnes, chartering a yacht or going out fishing for the day. For the children Woodlands Leisure Park is just a few miles away as is the commended Blackpool Sands beach.
In the summer crowds flock to see the Red Arrows at Dartmouth Regatta, in May Dartmouth Music Festival brings the town alive. Out of season there is a comedy Festival in February and in October a Food Festival. The South West Coastal Path is close by and Dartmoor is great for cycling and walking. Dartmouth Golf and Country club with its Championship course is only 5 miles away.

Dartmouth Castle located at the mouth of the estuary is well worth a visit as well as Coleton Fishacre a beautiful Art Deco property with lovely gardens run by the National Trust and Agatha Christie's house Greenway is only a few miles up the river.
